Sailing in Europe. I just earned my BS in mathematics from Michigan State University in December 2007. I currently work as a web developer and server administrator at the Confucius Institute and Center for Teaching and Technology at the university.
I grew up around newspapers. Aldus PageMaker and Illustrator were two of the first computer programs I ever used. This early and constant exposure to layout and design has given me a valuable background for web design.
Since I started playing piano when I was four, I've loved music. Basically, if I'm near my computer, I'm listening to something. I've been trying to play the guitar more lately and get back to what I used to be able to do--possibly with less concentration on Metallica, though.
My personal projects lately are re-learning guitar, learning to draw a little better, speaking better French, and learning Java.
